Hi, I am Tara. I do work in the race barn, but my love is our broodmares! My goal is raise babies Dad and I can race on the track, and then Kyle and I can take to the barrel futurities. We have a small group of mares, but we have selected mares with great conformation, good bone, and lots of sense. Most of our mares are unraced, but what we lack in proven performance we make up for in proven pedigree and proven produce record! Contact Gregg or Tara at (918) 652-8793
Anticipating Eyes - http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/anticipating+eyes

Anticipating Eyes is a mare that my Dad and I own together. She was one of our first broodmares. She is a 1993 sorrel mare by Ronas Ryon. As most of you know Ronas Ryon is old school! He is a Windy Ryon (who is Go Man Go and Depth Charge) and out of a ThreeBars / Wimpy mare.  Anticipating Eyes dam is Winning Eyes she is by Raise Your Glass. She is a full sister to Special Leader, the dam of six foals to race 4 ROM including stakes placed Jess Dashing. Our mares second dam is Miss Eye Opener who is not only a G1 Stakes Placed winner herself, she is an all american futurity qualifying producer, a sister to Mr Eye Opener, and the dam of SPECIAL LEADER. And her third dam is none other than the great Beduino mare Bedawee who speaks for herself!

This mare was crossed with Mr Eye Opener himself in 2001 and in 2002 a black colt was born named Disappear. My dad trained him and he won several times and qualified for one of the MBNA Challenges in Ruidoso. We also had a filly out of her that won her first out and we sold her to a trainer in Canada. She had a grey Illegal Runnaway colt that is now a finished barrel horse, and a Amateur Rodeo Winner. She has an Everybodys Callin named Anticipated Calling that is Stakes Placed, a Come On Boots named TF Rona N Boots that has made over $40,000, and we also had a Everybodys Callin named Eyes All In  (pictures below) that qualifed with the 2nd fastest time for the Kansas Jackpot Prep Futurity.

I love this little mare! She might be 15 hands tall with her shoes on and in typical Ronas Ryon fashion she is soooo dark red she looks chocolate! Ronas Ryon might be one of my favorite broodmare sire. He has produced mare that have Racing Champions and Barrel Champions! She is also Raise a Native (via Raise Your Glass) which is one of my favorites sires (race or barrel race). I wish I would have had the opportunity to breed her to Streakin La Jolla but I didn't. I am still hoping someone will listen to me and breed her to Special Leader! She has a yearling filly by Strike The Cash and we sold her to a man in Mexico. She has a 2009 filly by Country Chicks Man, and she is in foal to TailGunner Tom for a 2010 foal.

Kiss N Run - http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/kiss+n+run

Kiss is a 1998 Sorrel mare. She is an own daughter of Takin On The Cash (whom we all know is Dash For Cash, Easy Jet, and Azure Te!) She is out of an own daughter of Easy Jet. Dad also trained and owned a half sister to her named SoEasyOnTheEyes, she is also a half sister to Sadies CopyCat (by Sadies Frosty Drift, by Frenchmans Guy) KissNRuns dam Kisses CopyCat has a 96 SI. KissNRuns second dam is none other than the great mare Kiptys Kisses Si 99, Stakes Winner of 11 races! She is the dam of Champion Heza Ramblin Man SI 103 and Stakes Winner First To Ramble Si 110.

This mare She was a finished barrel horse with rodeo earnings and she sustained an injury. In 2004 she was bred to THE CORONA, My Dad bought the foal in the Heritage Sale and he named him HHS Dragster. He was awesome! When he was a yearling we knew he was something, so we called to buy Kiss N Run, and she was not for sale. But, they had not had any luck getting her in foal again and called us a year later and sold her to us for a reasonable with the understanding they could not get her in foal. We brought her home with hopes we could  get her bred. We were so blessed and she bred to The Corona. She now has a 2009 filly by The Corona. She is bred back to Jess Louisiana Blue.

A Lil Bita Jess - http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/a+lil+bita+jess

Jesse is a 2000 sorrel mare by none other than MR JESS PERRY himself and out of a Moon Lark / Rocket Wrangler / Staunch Avenger mare.  Dad bought Jesse for me in 2003 at the Heritage Sale, and I got her broke and started her on barrels. Dad and I sold her and I thought I would never see her again. Well, several years later I get an e-mail from a girl who had her and couldn't get along with her and I offered to buy her but I never heard back from her again. Then this year I got an e-mail from another girl who had her, and liked her but didn't fit her style (jesse does have a style all her own) and I ended up with Jesse again! I took her to two barrel races this year and she ran in the 2-D. But, Dad wanted to breed her. I love this mares style and she is super sensible. Mr Jess Perry speaks for himself but what I love is that he is a Streakin La Jolla who is one of my favorites sires because he is Easy Jet and Raise a Native. (Mordis was Raise a Native and Easy Jet and as you will see in I love that cross! and Kyles gelding Streakin La High is a Streakin La Jolla) I also LOVE Moon Lark, Staunch Avenger, and Rocket Wrangler! Jesse is in foal to TailGunner Tom for a 2010 foal.

This picture is Ms Jesse herself doing her thing.
She is a GREAT barrel horse with a ton of try!
She has a style all her own, and it really works for her!

Set On Go [TB] -   www.allbreedpedigree.com/set+on+go

2002 Sorrel Mare by Holzmeister. Holzmeister is a son of Woodman a Champion Sprinter in Ireland. WoodMan is my favorite cross of Raise a Native and Nasrullah! Set On Go is out of Shes a Lock by Sun Power. Set On Gos second dam is La Lucky Strike she is a Stakes Placed mare with 10 wins her sire is Stakes inner Strike The Anvil. Her third dam is a Stakes Winning mare with 8 wins!  Dad bought Set On Go when she was a yearling at a sale in New Mexico. We raced her and she was wicked fast for 440 yards! She won one time, but she could just smoke the quarter! We decided to keep her and add her to out broodmares because we love her conformation and her early speed (well early for a thoroughbred). She had a Thoroughbred foal by Amazing Connection (a full brother to BGs Drone) and we sold him. She has a quarter horse yearling by Coronas Prospect named Corona To Go, a weanling by Thoroughbred FashionFind and she is back in foal to FashionFind. We are very excited about her yearling Corona To Go he has great conformation and is very athletic. He wants to do his job, and enjoys work! When we started our yearlings he was a little ornery, but when it comes to going fast he is ALL BUSINESS!

Roja Bomba [TB] -
www.allbreedpedigree.com/roja+bomba

1997 Sorrel Mare by Explosive Red who is a proven broodmare sire! She is out of ablack type Garthorn mare, her second dam is a stakes placed mare herself and also a stakes producer.

This mare is just too cool! Kyle and I own her together. She is the beginning of MC2 Racing Partners! Kyle and I use to have SuperStar Barrel Horses. But, we are both a little busy to Barrel Race full time. Anyway, back to the mare her pedigree is neat, and her conformation is GREAT! This mare has had a few foals. She has 6 of racing age but only 3 to race. One of her babies qualified for the Lazy E Futurity [G2] and another already has 2 wins! She also has a foal that is a Barrel Futurity Money Earner and two others that are great match horses in Mexico! I love this mare. She is not a typical Thoroughbred she is 15 hands tall, she has a huge hip she is extra stout. We have her weanling by Country Quick Dash and she is back in foal to Country Quick Dash.

Below is Roja Bombas 2009 foal by Country Quick Dash!  We call him Ricochet, he thinks he is a REAL RACE HORSE Already and he is just a BABY!

Rio Leo Lady -
www.allbreedpedigree.com/rio+leo+lady

1994 Sorrel mare by Rios First Prize (a half brother to First Down Dash) and she is out of Girl Everything who is an own daughter of Easy Jet and a sister to Flamboyan.

Rio Leo Lady is a half sister to Our Special Girl who ran in the All American Futurity. What I love about this female line is not only is our mare a stakes producer but so are her sisters! They are just HOT! Our mare is not only has multiple Barrel Futurity Money Earners she is also a Stakes producer herself! She is the dam of 8 foals of racing age, only 2 of them went to the track! BOTH OF THEM ARE STAKES PLACED! I was told that 4 of the six foals are in Mexico, Two of them are proven barrel horses, and the two that did hit the track in the US are BOTH Stakes Placed ( Habitual Flyer and Jets Gol). Sid Snider owns half of her with Kyle and I. This mare went threw the sale, and I loved her! This mare will die with me. I love her, when I saw her I had to have her! She is 16'2, she had a GREAT HIP, the perfect pedigree for me. I think she might be one of the best horses I have ever laid eyes on! She is bred to Dos Poruno and due in march!

Three City Sisters - www.allbreedpedigree.com/Three+City+Sisters

2004 Chestnut mare out of Carson City by a Meadow Lake mare, she is unraced. Her dam has one foal to race a 2 year old (of 2009) that has 2 wins in 4 starts. Her is the sister to multiple stakes winners, including Minewander and Wander Mom, her second dam is a sister to Serenas Song who made over $3 million! We just got this mare and we are very excited to own her! She is in foal to a son of Danzig for a 2010 foal, and she will be bred back to A Royal Cartel.

Snowy Princess -  www.allbreedpedigree.com/snowy+princess

2002 Sorrel mare by This Snow Is Royal she is out of an own daughter of Special Effort Her 2nd dam is a Dash For Cash mare that was a stakes winner of $136,000.

I got a phone call in mid October '09 from a lady who lives a couple of miles from us. She had this mare in her pasture and wanted to sale her because they raise bucking bulls and big rope horses, and she was obviously race bred. Our Stallion A Royal Cartel is a Southern Cartel, and the late Southern Snowman was a Southern Cartel also, out of a This Snow is Royal mare. I am very excited to ad this mare to our group of mares simply because Southern Cartel x This Snow Is Royal / Dash For Cash mare produced Snowman, whom we loved dearly (and miss terribley!). Not that we could ever replace such a special horse, but I think it will be so neat to cross our Southern Cartel stallion on this This Snow Is Royal daughter and try it again!
